David was a graduate of Emma Sansom High School class of 1977. He loved music and had a special talent for playing the guitar. He enjoyed spending his Saturdays watching football. He faithfully provided for and tended to the needs of his late wife Vickie and his mother Rita. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
David is preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Redish; mother, Rita Murphy; father, Arion Sims; stepfather, Talmon Murphy Sr.; grandparents, Asa and Lessie Redish; and sister, Kala Toney.
He is survived by his 4 children, Lindsey (Joseph) Redish Pounds, David Redish Jr., Jennifer Gravitt, and Jana (Casey) Green; two stepdaughters,Crystal Payne,,and Kayla Scott; siblings, Anthony (Shelly) Camper, Karen (Mike) Christy, Emily Angie Walden, Talmon (Liz) Murphy Jr., and Jessica (Scott) Martin; along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank everyone for their continuous support and prayers through this difficult time.
