William "Tommy" Thomas Sherrell

William “Tommy” Sherrell age 54 of Attalla passed away March 5, 2022. Memorial Service will be at 5p.m. Friday, March 11, 2022 at Gadsden Christian Fellowship with Pastor Johnny Johnson and Pastor Randy Helms officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 4 until 5p.m.

Tommy was born in Etowah County, and was a graduate of Tabernacle Christian Academy. Tommy was a huge family man and loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting and being outdoors, as well as being active in his church, Gadsden Christian Fellowship. He was proud to work for the USDA and enjoyed his job very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents, W.G. Sherrell and Mary R. Sherrell; siblings, Kay Ford, Diane Anderson, and Billy Pack.

He is survived by his wife, Marina Sherrell; children, Melissa (Robert) Cone, Jonathon (Stephanie) Kilgore; siblings, Deane Pack, Lisa Griffith, Kim Mullican, Chris Anderson, and David Filmore; grandchildren, Hannah (Justin) Bonds, Elizabeth Crawford (Fiancé Dylan Hill), Sarah Cone, Natalie Kilgore, Samuel Cone, Nicholas Kilgore, and Nate Kilgore; and unborn great grandson, Corbin Hill.
