André Lee Singley

A devoted husband, Papa, son, brother & friend, Andre’ passed away surrounded by those that loved him. For more than 20 years he loved Susan, his wife, and created a home and adventure-filled life. He adored their granddaughters, teaching them to fish and ride bikes. He invested into the lives of all his friends and family, and left a legacy of mentoring others. He recently retired from MSHA as a Federal Mine Inspector and was proud of his work and the people he encountered there. He is predeceased by his father, Roy Singley, his sister Josette Banks, and many aunts, uncles & cousins. He is survived by his wife, Susan; stepdaughter, Stephanie (Rowan) (Ken Rhoades); granddaughters Johanna & Sophia Rhoades; his mother, Raymonde (Aknin) Singley; brother, Charles Aknin-Singley; nieces, Nichole (Aknin-Singley) Contreras and Arielle Aknin-Singley; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and in-laws.

A memorial service will be held Thursday Jan. 31, at 1 p.m. at the Applegate Civic Center under the direction of Chapel of the Hills. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
