Carol Joyce Stoddard

left this world to be with the Lord on May 27, 2012, at the age of 84.

Carol was born in Pasadena, CA on January 1, 1928 to Howard and Eulalie Weld.

She attended grade and high school in San Demas, CA. She is survived by husband

Percy Stoddard, 1 niece, 1 nephew, 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren,

1 step-daughter and husband, 2 step-grandchildren, 1 step-great grandson, 2 step-great-great-grandchildren, and many, many friends.

Carol is preceded in death by daughter Christine Schell, son Barry Anderson, son Brian Anderson and daughter Marjorie Carlton, 2 sisters Helen and Dorothy, and nephew Dave.

Carol raised her 4 children then returned to school to study to become a legal transcriber, she then worked for Sacramento County until retirement. Carol met the love of her life Percy at the age of 67. They enjoyed 17 years together. Carol touched many people in her life, and to those whose lives she had touched, she will be greatly missed.

At Carol’s request, there will be no formal service. An informal gathering of close friends and family is being planned for a later date which will be held at the United Methodist Church in Meadow Vista, CA. An announcement will be made near that time. Arrangements under the direction of Chapel of the Hills, Auburn, CA.
