Our Beloved Mother was born in LaCrosse Wisconsin to William and Leona Everson. She was born premature, and Grandma Everson told us how she would put her in a shoebox for a bed and fed her with an eyedropper to keep her alive.
After graduating from High school, she went to Loma Linda University to become a Radiology Technician. She had aspirations to become a Doctor and further her education, but then she met Marvin and chose to marry and raise a family. They moved back to the Midwest to raise 5 children together, then later moved to Arizona. She later worked as a Radiology Technician at Yavapai Regional Hospital and V.A. Hospital in Prescott, AZ.
Darlene showed God’s love to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her, and made many friends in her lifetime. She will always be loved and remembered for her quick smile and kind, sweet ways. Many felt loved as she sent birthday cards and letters to so many through the years.
Darlene’s eldest daughter, Leesa Albrecht, preceded her in death. She will be loved and remembered by her children: Ruth (Phil) Sparling, Jennifer (Jim) Kepfer, Paul (Jeanette) Albrecht, and Sheryl (Jason) Williams.
She had many Grandchildren: Phillip, Ben, Amanda, and Michael Sparling; Jessica, Jamie, Joshua, and Jimmy Kepfer; Lara, Seth, and Hayley Albrecht; and Emma and Lillie Williams.
She also had many Great-grandchildren: Hudson, Malakai, Everly, Scottie, Kennedy, Shep, Maelee, Ezekiel, Kinley, Tessa, Gideon and Mercy.
She also has a loving sister Linda Kasicki, and is preceded in death by her brothers William and Tommy Everson. She also had many nieces and nephews.
The family is having a graveside service and a small celebration of life to follow.
