Doris Gertrude Moore Hatch-Stone

Doris was born in White, Georgia and was around the 8th of 21 children. She was preceded in death by 16 of her siblings, her 2 husbands, her daughter, 2 of her granddaughters and an infant great-grandson. Doris lived her childhood in Tennessee. She met and married Wylie Harker Hatch in Bennetsville, South Carolina in 1946. They moved to Auburn, California and bought a ranch in Ophir. They had 5 children, Gary, James, Cheryl, Billy, and Charles. Doris moved with her husband and their 2 youngest sons to Sweet Home, Oregon in 1969. Wylie passed away in 1990. In 1994 Doris met and married Robert Foster Stone in Sweet Home. They moved to Applegate for a while and then to Port Orchard, Washington. After Robert past away in 2007 Doris moved back to California where her sons Gary and James and daughter Cheryl shared taking care of her until her death at the age of 81. Doris was a faithful Christian and attended Sierra Reach Ministries in Applegate. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and she is with him now. God Bless her. There will be a funeral service on December 27, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Chapel of the Hills in Auburn, California. Doris will be buried with her husband Wylie in Lewis cemetery in Sweet Home, Oregon on December 29, 2011. Arrangements under the direction of Chapel of the Hills, Auburn, CA.
