Irene Beatrice Heseltine

Irene Beatrice Heseltine died Saturday January 5, 2013 in Nevada County, CA. She was 95 years old. A funeral service will be held at the Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA. 95603 at 11:00 AM, January 14, 2013. Viewing will be Sunday, January 13 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the same address.

Irene was born July 7, 1917 in Chicago, IL to James A. and Dora (Courtier) Coleman. She married John W. “Jack” Heseltine April 27, 1940 in Chicago and they had three sons, John, Scott, and Bruce. Irene was primarily a homemaker although she did work as a school secretary in Placer County, CA and Sandy, UT. Jack and Irene lived in Illinois, Utah, and California. In 1969, Jack went into full-time ministry of the Gospel at the Plymouth Brethren Assembly in Cosmopolis, WA. Irene supported their Bible camp work in the US and Canada by working in the camp kitchen(s). Jack and Irene retired to California in 2005.

Irene is survived by her sons John (Billie), Scott (Karen), and Bruce (Peggy); seven grandchildren, Phil (Jennie), Travis, Chad (Autumn), Ryan (Debi), Brittany, Cody, and Katie; and eight great-grandchildren, Dallas, Alexa, Kelsa, Livie Anne, Kaleb, Xander, Paisley, and Elise; and numerous nieces and nephews. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and her husband.
