John was our brother and we loved him more than he understood. His younger adult life was spent enjoying life’s adventures as far as his reach would go. Among his many pleasures were fishing, camping, and his dogs. He also enjoyed a heated discussion as long as he could take the opposite position. He had more friends than he knew, all of which in the end he had outlived by several years.
But John’s greatest pleasure in life was his marriage to Kristie. They survived all of life’s challenges, always together. Both had their own health issues; but, always supported by the other. To say either one was the other’s “better half” would be wrong. They were both the same half.
John’s pleasure in life fell by half when his other half died. And for each following year that pleasure of life diminished. In the end John had but one desire, to be with Kristie.
He is now with Kristie, out of pain, and at peace. We pray for his peace and God’s good grace.
John you are our brother. We love and miss you.
Steve
He was a proud Marine, a good father, and a big brother to look up to and to emulate. He loved fishing, hiking, and camping. He loved his family and was always there to help in any way he could. We will all miss knowing that he was alive and kicking in this world even during times of no communication with one another. I know Kristy, Mom, Dad, and our sister Linda Lou met him with open arms in Heaven. We'll see you again brother John when our time to come home is upon each one of us. Until then, we'll pray for you and think of you always.
Chuck
