

Lisa Deanna (Zielke) Valdez, 56, of Colfax, California was born on December 26, 1967 in Fontana, California. She passed away on July 3, 2024. She spent a majority of her growing up years in Incline Village, Nevada. Lisa attended high school in Anderson, CA and Carmel, CA.
Lisa is survived by her parents, Gabe and Jill Dick, Del and Sandy Zielke, her son, Jeffrey Roberts, her sisters, LaVon Quinn and Lori Sloan, brother, Abe Dick, her grandchildren, Curtis, Kyleah, Kaleb, Olivia, and Jaxson, and her nieces, Abigail Graunke, Sedona Sloan, and Serena Sloan.
Lisa loved spending time outdoors seeking new adventures. She enjoyed paddleboarding, snow skiing, and camping. By her side for all of these adventures was her sweet dog Bella. Lisa loved animals and had a particular fondness for pigs. Her sense of humor was impeccable and seemingly effortless. She could make a room erupt in laughter in an instant.
Lisa loved her country and was a true patriot. She believed in upholding and defending one’s rights and freedoms as an American citizen. She was outspoken and brave in defending what she believed in. Her life was marked by service and love–to her family, to her friends, and to her community. Lisa’s vivacious spirit and kind heart will be missed by all.
Her memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 18th, 2024 at 2 pm at Cornerstone Community Church 11111 Dry Creek Rd Auburn, CA 95602.
