Robert Atkinson passed away at his home in Auburn on Tuesday, November 16, 2010. He was 76. Robert was born in Quebec, Canada. He worked for the telephone company for 25 years. Robert is survived by his wife Dottie of almost 28 years, sons Barry and Jeffrey Atkinson of Placerville and Meadow Vista; stepdaughters Kathy Izsak of Vero Beach, FL and Pamela Burton of Bloomfield, MI and grandson Josh Atkinson of Camino. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Christina Atkinson. A visitation will take place at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA on Friday, November 19, 2010 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00.
