Bob passed away August 26, 2010, at the age of 82. He died peacefully at home in Loomis knowing his dear Lord was waiting with open arms. He was born in Marysville, Washington on November 12, 1927 to George and Georgia Bowler, the 10th of 10 children. His family relocated to Alameda, California where he grew up before entering the Army Air Corp. Wanting a better life or his family, he moved to Placer County in the late 1960's. Bob was a man of many trades, including grocer, Rocklin Barber, professional dog breeder/handler and a carpenter of more than 20 years. He was also influential in his daughters' love of horses. His greatest accomplishment was his family. Bob was predeceased by his wife Eleanor in 1977 and his stepson Randy Jones in 1993. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara, whom he held hands with for 32 years, his children, Nichollett Bowler, Jeanne (Steve) Paris, Gary Bowler, Rhonda (Kent) Worth, Sharon (Pete) Grottanelli and Don (Carol) Jones. He was "Grandpa Bob" to 10 and "Great Grandpa Bob" to two. Bob is also survived by three siblings, Evelyn, Georgia and Paul.
