Bob and Kathryn were our neighbors when I was growing up in Meadow Vista. He was a good guy. He had a good sense of humor. He always seemed to have a real commitment to the customers whom he built homes for. His first priority was to do right by his customers, and also the people that worked for him. A real class act. And by class act I mean he wasn't just some gruff construction worker, he had the ability to speak to and care about customers in their language. Too few people left around like him today. Very sad.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I hadn't seen Bob for a few years but when I did he always had a smile on his face and a witty sense of humor!  I regret I wasn't able to pay my respects at the service but it looked and sounded like he made his presence known...May he rest peacefully now in heaven and grace others with his spirit!

Bob, It truely was a pleasure to care for you. I will carry my experienes in caring for you for a lifetime.  You've taught me so much by saying so little. Miss ya. Until we meet again.

My deepest condolences to the entire Nelsen Family on the loss of Bob. I remember him as a hard working man and a caring father.  Peace to you all.

I'm so grateful to be one of your daughters! To have learned from you so many life skills to get me from day to day. I'm grateful you taught me how to work hard in this life for whatever it is I may want or need and not let anything or anyone stand in my way of my dreams. I'm grateful u taught me to dance ! To sing! To cook and enjoy good food! I'm grateful u taught me to respect myself and my elders my neighbors and peers. I'm grateful u taught me to laugh! To cry ! Kathryn, we were so saddened to learn about Bob.  He was always so very kind to us, offering encouragement when we first began building homes in Florence.  We will always remember his infectious smile, and his tenacity for building only the finest in his trade.  A stellar individual.

I am so very sorry to learn of Mr. Nelson's passing.   He was the patriarch of a well- loved and respected family in Florence, Oregon.  His integrity and good will is a lasting legacy for all those who knew him.

I'm am deeply sorry to hear about your loss.  May the god of comfort be with you during this difficult time.

Dad, I have been trying to think of the words to express how devastated I am that you are not here with me in "my world" now. These past few days have been unbearable. Although the selfish part of me wants "just one more day" with you, the only comfort I find is knowing that you are no longer in any more pain and you are now an angel to watch over me and continue to guide me thru your spirit! I asked you for a sign that you are up there in heaven with Papa, and I will be on the look out for any sign always! Your determination, will and strength to fight and live inspire me to no end. I will miss terribly having you where I can hug you, spend time with you, give you kisses, and being able to see you watch Nyella grow and bond with her, and of course, having you always sneaking her candy (mostly behind my back!)and many other things that we shared, but most of all Dad, I am going to miss hearing you tell me "I love you kid!." I will cherish all those kisses you gave me on my cheek not knowing they would be last before you left me. Looking back, and even at that moment I knew that was a moment to forever treasure. You had a way of letting me and my sisters know how much we were loved without you saying a word. Thank you. Please rest now Dad, and enjoy your new journey pain free. I will see you again. I was saddened to hear about Mr. Nelsen's passing. I hope and pray that you all will have strength during this time of loss.  My sincerest condolences.
