Terry Alan Arthur

On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, Terry Arthur, loving husband, father, grandfather, and son, passed away at the age of 80.

Terry was born in Burbank, CA on November 1, 1943. His early childhood included 4 years of great adventure when his family moved to Camdenton, Missouri to build and operate a fishing lodge on Lake of the Ozarks. The family returned to California and settled in the Simi Valley for Terry’s high school years. He graduated from Simi High School in 1961. During his time at Simi High, Terry met the love of his life, Judy Tucker. They were married on September 7, 1963. Judy and Terry were blessed with three sons: Steve, Tom, and James. The family settled in Grass Valley, CA in 1975.

Terry was an accomplished automotive technician and all who knew him, knew his passion for cars. During his career, he owned and operated three auto repair businesses and was well known for his integrity and genuine interest in helping customers. Terry was endlessly generous with his mechanical knowledge and routinely helped his family and friends with whatever automotive repair challenge they were facing.

Terry’s love for his wife and family, was like no other. He provided selfless love to his three sons, grandchildren, his friends, and was by Judy’s side for 59 years of marriage. In addition to immediate family, Terry was a loving father/son/brother in-law.

Terry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy, his parents, Raymond and Eileen, and brother, Don. He is survived by his three sons, Steve, Tom, and James, his brother, Michael, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In honor of Terry, the Arthur family will be hosting a Celebration of Life event.
