A celebration of life for Valarie will be held Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcastle Gardens, 950 Taylor Road, Newcastle, California. A graveside service will occur Monday, June 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM at New Auburn Cemetery, 1040 Collins Drive, Auburn, California.

Valarie “Momma & Nana” Belding 05/30/1959-04/30/2022

Valarie Stinson Belding, who loved to be called Momma by her kids, and Nana by her grandchildren, departed her loving family on April 30, 2022.

Valarie was born in Provo, UT on May 30, 1959, to Patricia and Claude Stinson. Valarie was mother to Jessica, Brandon and Christine. She raised her children with love and devotion in Roseville alongside her loving husband of 43 years, Edward Belding.

As a baker and florist, Valarie was known for her superior cake decorating and floral arrangements. Her hobbies included traveling with her husband and family, reading, studying history, adventures with ATV’s, hiking, horse backing, snowmobiling and taking bike rides. She was most proud of her family.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jessica, Brandon & Genae, Christine and Ginger and her 8 grandchildren, Katie, Jack, Isabella, Krue, Kynslee, Kade, Jade & Levi. Aside from her loving husband, children and grandchildren she doted on, Valarie is survived by Claudia Carmack (Silver Springs, NV), Joann Stinson (Crescent City, NV) and Marilyn (Kevin) Payne (Fallbrook, CA).

Celebration of Life will be held at Newcastle Gardens 950 Taylor Road Newcastle, CA. on June 19, 2022 from 3-6PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a Smithsonian (of your choice) can be made in Valarie’s name to honor her love and passion for history and education.
