Virginia Joerger passed away in her home on September 20, 2010. She was 76. She was a resident of Placer County since 1962. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Verne E. Joerger Jr., 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by son Richard Carrell of Loomis, CA, daughter Andrea Kelsey of Rocklin, CA, son John (Shirley) Carrell of Roseville, CA, daughter Sharon Hawkins of Yuba City, CA, daughter Donna Jones of Lincoln, CA and daughter Debi Blank of Loomis, CA; 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Chapel of the Hills on Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 5 to 7 pm. A graveside service will take place at the Newcastle Cemetery on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 10:00 am.
