Amie was born the daughter of Karl and Penelope Kucab on November 8, 1974, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She attended St. Monica Catholic School and graduated from Portage Northern High School, class of 1992. Amie spent a year abroad in Nantes France mastering the French language and traveling throughout Europe. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the prestigious James Madison College at Michigan State University. Amie had successful careers in sales within the automotive industry and held positions within the fields of data analytics and business development.
Amie had a kind heart and loved her friends and family. She frequented local flea markets and resale shops. She always loved playing competitive card games with her grandparents and relatives. In younger years, she liked to travel with family and friends and visited Europe several times throughout her lifetime.
Amie is survived by her mother Penelope Kucab of Kalamazoo; siblings Karrie Lange of Chicago, Illinois, and Dan (Melissa) Kucab of Oklahoma City; nieces Charlotte Lange, Carly and Abby Kucab; and nephews Henry Lange and Noah Kucab. Amie was predeceased by her loving father Karl Kucab.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 29, 2025, at 11am (10:30am memorial visitation) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 3400 South Adams Road in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
