As the Activities Director at Sunrise of Troy I was able to interact with Barb and Gil almost daily. They became friends to me . I would talk to Barb about my husband all the time. When he was driving me nuts we would joke about her bailing me out of jail if I couldn't take what he was doing any more. My husband has many medical issues and Barb would always take the time to talk to me about his situations. We talked about the books we were reading and she shared authors with me. Many times now when I start a David Baldacci book I think of Barb. I loved it when Barb and Gil would go out to lunch or dinner with the Sunrise group. Barb was a wonderful, caring person that I feel honored to have known.
