Les was born the son of Earl and Frances (Becker) Millsap in Bono, Arkansas on July 28, 1943. Les grew up in Warren, Michigan and graduated from Lincoln High School, class of 1961. He married Beulah Mays on June 16,1962 at the Van Dyke Baptist Church in Warren. Les and Beulah raised their family in Emmett, Michigan, next door to family. Les had a career as a machinist.
Les was a talented woodworker. He liked hunting deer and pheasant. God and family were the most important to him.
Les is survived by his loving wife Beulah; daughter Frances (Wayne) Sherman; grandchildren Joshua (Nicole) Sherman and Tracy Sherman; great-grandchildren Airyana, Aiden, Isaac, and Brielle Sherman; brothers Raymond (Dorothy) Millsap and Billy Millsap; as well as many nieces and nephews. Les was predeceased by his parents; daughter Lesia Millsap; and brothers Roy and Danny Millsap.
Les’s family will welcome all to a visitation on Thursday April 21st,2022 from 4pm until the time of the funeral Service at 7pm at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 Auburn Road in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Burial will be held at Memphis Cemetery on Friday April 22, 2022.
