He was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 12, 1935.
James graduated from Lake Orion High School and later became a millwright for General Motors.
He was a member of Harrington Hills Association, Retirees Club, UAW Local 653, and United Brotherhood Carpenters Local 998. James also had a passion for planting and caring for flowers and shrubs.
He is survived by his sister Marian J. (Walter) Spencer of Lake, Michigan and niece Michele.
A graveside service for James will be held on Friday March 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at White Chapel Cemetery.
