James Bradford Zick

ZICK, James Bradford, age 80, of Rochester Hills, MI passed away September 5th, 2016. He was born in Lansing, MI on January 22nd, 1936. James graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America on the National Board of Directors, a Board Member of the Central Region, Vice President of Area 2, Chairman of Transportation for 1993, 1997, & 2001 National Jamboree, Member of Central Region Silver Antelope Award Committee, Executive Board Member and President (1991-1995). James was also a member of Oakland Family Services and Stonycroft Hills Country Club. He had a passion for golf when he wasn’t busy with his organizations. James is survived by his friend and constant companion Judy Farley; his children Janith (James) Bishop, Julie (Steven) Mordell, and James (Karrol) Zick Jr.; his grandchildren Kristina Zick, Kathrine Zick, James B. Zick III, Erik B. Mordell, and Victoria Mordell; and his great grandchild Brayden K. Mordell. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 8th, 2016, from 1-8 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, MI. There will be an additional visitation held Friday, September 9th, 2016 from 1-2 p.m. with a funeral service starting at 2 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home.
