Marion Elaine Briggs

MARION ELAINE BRIGGS, age 90, died Friday, March 23, 2018. Marion was born on July 6, 1927 in Detroit, MI. She is survived by her children Patricia Bertoia, Susan (Jeffrey) Groff, Michael (Dorene) Briggs, Nancy Briggs, Kathleen (David) See, and Thomas Briggs; grandchildren Jennifer (Brian) Fineran, Kelly (Matt) DelCampo, Nicholas Hoffman, Christopher (Natalie) Bertoia, Amanda See and Kyla (Scott) Charny; great grandchildren Gabrielle, Kaden, Brandon, Brian Jr, Brooklyn, and Olivia; Great Great Grandchildren Cydney, Connor, Cassidy and Deegan. Marion was a Certified Fraud Document Examiner as well as a Certified Forensic Examiner, and was an expert fraud witness. She worked for local court systems and banks. Marion was a member of the American Women’s Business Association. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 28, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Road, Auburn Hills. Memorials may be made to Wayne State University Medical School.
