He is survived by his children: Nick, Michael (Cathy), Audrey, Jeffrey along with several of his grandchildren and his brothers and sisters: James (Betty), Barbara, Donald (Harriet), Delores, and Geri, his sister-in-law Sue and his daughter-in-law Teresa. Merlin is preceded in death by his son Gregory and his brother Doyle. Services will be held on April 11, 2015 at 12:00 PM at the Auburn Hills Chapel of Pixley Funeral Home (3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, Michigan, 48326) with Memorial Visitation beginning at 11:00 AM April 11, 2015.
