Richard L. Pajas

Rich was born the son of John and Helen (Dominiak) Pajas on February 15, 1948 in Detroit. He graduated from Mackenzie High School, class of in 1967. Rich served as a cook in the United States Navy from December 1967 to October 1971. After the Navy, Rich attended to meat cutter school in Toledo and worked for Kroger for over 40 years. In his younger years, Rich enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. Throughout all his years, Rich loved to cook and show others how to cook as well. Rich is survived by his sisters Camille (Frederick) Janeczko, Deborah (Corey) McKinley, and Cynthia Ali; Nephew’s Christopher (Tamara) Pajas, Michael Janeczko, Omar Ali, and Amr Ali; nieces Laura (Kevin) Beam, Sarah Ingweiller, Nicole Ingweiller, and Emily Ali; great-nephews Matt and Alex Beam; and great-nieces Sofia and Everly Schramm. Rich’s family will welcome all for a visitation on Friday December 6th from 10am until the time of funeral service at noon at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 Auburn Rd. in Auburn Hills. Memorial contributions may be made in Rich’s honor to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.
