Cora Margaret Bullis passed away on November 11, 2014, at the age of 86, in Puyallup, Washington. She was born in Valentine, Nebraska to Rudolph William and Olive Elizabeth Bullis. She was the great-granddaughter of early settlers to Valentine, William Theron and Eliza Bullis. Cora attended college at Chadron State; she received her bachelor’s degree at the University of Nebraska and her master’s at the University of Michigan. She worked as a microbiologist most of her adult life. Cora was preceded in death by her brother, Robert William Bullis in 2002, and is interned at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn, Washington. Cora is survived by a sister, Hazel Abbuhl, and two nieces, Melissa Caviezel and Rebekha Abbuhl.
