Jane Marie Morrison

Jane Marie Morrison, a longtime resident of Auburn, passed away on March 22, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born in Miles City, Mt on November 21, 1923, the daughter of Arthur and Gladys Michaelson. Jane married Albert Morrison, her husband of 61 years on Feb 19, 1944. Together they operated Al Morrison Insurance Agency for 40 years in Auburn.

Jane and Al loved spending time together and with their large family. The especially enjoyed their outdoor activities, boating, skiing, camping, light plane flights and campfires at their beach property with family and friends. Jane also loved to dance. She was a wonderful homemaker who took great joy in baking, sewing, crocheting and making beautiful flower arrangements. She made every holiday a special, memorable occasion for her family. Jane was a very kind and caring woman, who was loved by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Al in 2005, her infant son, Michael in 1945, her parents, and her sister, Elizabeth. She is survived by her 5 children, Diana(Jim), Larry, Gail(Tom), Barbara(Ron), and Bob, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
