

Patrick Austin Hahn, 86, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the home he shared with his wife, Ruth Hahn, of 63 years. Born May 19, 1928 in Lead, South Dakota, he was the son of Thomas and Marie Hahn; their firstborn. After moving to Auburn in 1942, he attended primary school in Algona and high school in Auburn. He then spent a short time working for Milwaukee Railroad before going to work in the shipyards with his father during WWII. Eventually he became employed by Miles Sand and Gravel where he worked till he retired in 1992 after 46 years. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus through Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn. Throughout his life, he enjoyed camping, gardening, any time spent with his family and even square dancing with his bride. He will be remembered for his loving, gentle nature, his sense of humor and really good hugs. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hahn, their children: Tom and Ruth Hahn of Neah Bay, Mary Sehlin of Edgewood, Mike and Debbie Hahn of Edgewood, Tim and Melissa Hahn of Coulee City, Dan and Cyndy Hahn of Bucoda, David and Cindy Hahn of Graham, along with 25 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, his sisters Rita Lynch and Mary Jane Remeto, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Marie Hahn, his son-in-law Dave Sehlin, and daughters Teressa Hahn and Cathy Hahn, and great great grandson Payton Randal Hahn. The funeral service will be held on Friday February 27, at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn with the Rosary being held on Thursday February 26 at 7:00 pm at Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn.
