

Born on May 8, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, Corky was the son of Alexander Rado Sr. and Stella Smith Rado, both of Dayton. He lived a life defined by dedication, resilience, and deep love for his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Specialist 5, and carried that sense of duty and discipline throughout his life.
Following his military service, Corky pursued his education at the University of Findlay, graduating in 1972. He went on to build a successful career as a retail buyer, working with companies across the Midwest and Northeast. Known for his strong work ethic and keen eye, he earned the respect of colleagues throughout his career.
Above all, Corky was a devoted family man. He was known for his kind heart and great sense of humor, bringing warmth, laughter, and comfort to those around him. His presence made people feel at ease, and his ability to find lightness in everyday moments will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Lynn Peters Rado; his children, Mark Rado, Brad Rado, and Kathryn Rado; and his cherished grandchildren, Tyler Rado, Trey Rado, and Quinn Cirella-Rado. He is also survived by his sister, Jean Rado Waldron, along with extended family and many friends.
Corky will be remembered for his steady presence, his generosity of spirit, and the joy he brought to those who knew him. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled and the family he loved so dearly.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor and remember him.
