Dorothy Mae Brooker (Shaw) passed away Sunday, August 22nd, 2010 in Winter Haven, Florida. She was born on September 19th, 1919 in Wachule, Florida to Raymond L. Shaw and Mary Grice Shaw. Mrs. Brooker was a homemaker.
Mrs. Brooker was preceded in death by her husband William “Frank” Brooker. She is survived by her son Douglas F. Brooker, two daughters Glenda S. Selph and Shirley Strong, two sisters Martha Ernst and Mary E. Valla, 5 grandchildren: Christopher, Stacia, Trevor, Lisa, and Michael, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday august 27th, 2010 at 10:00 am at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale, Florida with Bishop Glen Waters presiding. Burial will follow the service at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
