Edna Ethel Fisher, age 86, of Lake Wales, Florida entered into rest on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Edna was born in Moultrie, Georgia on February 14, 1937, the daughter of Johnny Frank Nelson and Ethel Edna Nelson.
A 1955 graduate of Brandon High School in Brandon, FL, Edna owned Enterprises of Central FL. She actively served her community as Election Worker since 2008 and was also involved with the Ladies of the Lake luncheon group. Edna was treasurer at Dundee United Methodist Church and Lake Pierce Baptist Church in addition to holding other offices, a Notary, Realtor, Business Administrator for Sunni Citrus, Saddle Creek Corp, and Beymer United Methodist Church.
Edna is survived by her children; Leon Johns (Lisa) of Auburndale, FL, Dean Fisher of Lake Wales, FL, Camille Rodgers of Winter Haven, FL, Wanda Kyser (Danny) of Bradley, SC, and Jeanine Ray of Fairhope, AL; one sister, Rebecca Westover (Fred) of Orangeville, PA; grandchildren, Samantha, Leah (Mike), Michael Jr., Brandon, Moriah, Nathan, Johnny, Beulah, Jeremiah, Ricky, Little Danny, Dalis, Peyton, Astin and Joey; as well as great grandchildren, Gwen, Brody, Liam, Ember, Lincoln, and Eli.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life, Chuck Fisher.
A visitation for Edna will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K Ville Ave, Auburndale, Florida 33823. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 24, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home.
