Ethel M Murphy

Ethel was a homemaker for most of her life. She moved to Florida from Niles, Michigan 32 years ago.

Ethel was preceded in death by her husband Gene Murphy, daughter Susie Ray, son Mike Murphy, brothers Norman and Don, Sisters Rosetta and Caroline and her grandchildren Robert Thomas and Michaelle Workman. She is survived by her son James Murphy of Pleasant Lake, Michigan, sister Donna Grover of Pittsboro, North Carolina and grandchildren Ginger Barbato of Auburndale, Florida, Sandy Pickren of Leesburg, Florida, Wendy Sontag of Redford, Michigan, Mikel Murphy of Tampa, Florida and Tank Murphy of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ethel also leaves behind 17 great grandchildren, 33 great-great grandchildren and 3 great-great-great grandchildren along with many other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A visitation will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life to begin at 2:00 PM followed by burial at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale.
