He was born July 21, 1939 in Cullman, AL the son of Earl Fields and Tilda Gurganus. Edsel retired from the City of Winter Haven, as foreman of the Water Department, after 36 years of service.
Edsel is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rebecca “Becky” L. Fields, son: Eddie Fields and his wife Beverly, daughters: Sherri Roescher and her husband Steve and Jennifer Hollowood and her husband Jim, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Thursday from 6-8pm with funeral services Friday at 2pm, both at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Auburndale, FL
