Jack Powers, 83, of Winter Haven, FL, passed away on May 15, 2013 due to respiratory failure. He was born in Clinchco, VA, to Wedford and Bessie Powers. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War, and retired from Crown Cork and Seal.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, Randy and Jackie. He is survived by his wife, Orpha, three children, Thomas (Maria) Powers, Michael Powers, and Sandra (Billy) Kidwell, 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 21st, from 10-11 with a service following at 11. Both will be held at Ott-Laughlin in Auburndale.
