

Jean Ann Schultz of Auburndale, Florida passed away on July 11, 2023 at the age of 80. She was born on October 23, 1942 in Saranac Lake, New York. She grew up in Lake Placid where she enjoyed speed skating. She graduated from Nursing School in 1964. She worked as a nurse, a real estate agent and a tax auditor for New York State before she retired.
After she retired, her and her husband moved to Florida. She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, playing bingo and her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother Hildred Roy Durgan, her father Stanley Ayers Sr, and her two brothers, Lew Ayers and Stanley Ayers Jr.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Schultz, daughter Jennifer Roseboom, and son Bryan Lawrence. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, cousins, and many other family members that loved her. She loved her dogs as much as her children (sometimes more). She will be greatly missed by her dachshund Sheldon and was met on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge by her dachshund Cali Jean.
The family would like to thank the staff at Life Care Center of Winter Haven for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Ott Laughlin Funeral Home (2198 K-Ville Ave. Auburndale, FL 33823) on Wednesday July 26, 2023, from 3pm to 5pm. There will be a private Interment at Sarasota National Cemetery.
