Margie Williams, 98, entered into rest on April 23, 2026. Born on August 16, 1927, Margie grew up in Virginia, carrying those early roots with her throughout a long and meaningful life. She was a resident of Lakeland, Florida.
Margie will be remembered as a beloved mother and wife, who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed simple pleasures including time spent fishing, sharing stories with her grandchildren, the comfort of a good book, and the music of worship shared through church choir. A woman of enduring faith, she attended Parkview Baptist Church.
Margie is survived by her loving children Deborah Judy and Barbara Wheeler; 8 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Della McCracken, her son, Roy Williams, and husband Curtis Williams.
Visitation will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K-Ville Ave, Auburndale, Florida 33823, on May 1, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will follow at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home on May 1, 2026, at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
