She was born in Shelby County, AL to Cleav and Clara Cox Brantley. She retired from Albertson as a meat wrapper. After retirement she spent her time crocheting and painting. Many of her pieces were displayed in local establishments and her paintings won several first place awards at the Strawberry Festival in Plant City. She also spent her time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Bonnia L. Hale, three daughters, Connie Jo Ryan, Brenda K. Graham, and Angela D. Krietz, grandchildren, David W. Perdue, Shianna L. Perdue, and Kaitlyn Krietz, three great grandchildren, Nicholas, Tahlia, and Hayden, a brother, Wayne Brantley, and a sister, Elaine Brantley.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2nd, from 11-12 pm, with a service following at 12. Both will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral home in Auburndale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lifepath Hospice Center in Ruskin, FL.
