Mona Weeks, age 86, passed away peacefully at her son's home in Polk City, FL on Saturday, February 4, 2017. She was born October 10, 1930 in Bartow, FL the daughter of William Owens and Margarette Gaskins Owens.
In addition to her parents, Mona was preceded in death by her husband Cecil, son Richard, daughter-in-law Carol Weeks and brother Lewis "Buck" Owens. She is survived by her son: Robert and daughter-in-law Terry, grandchildren: Jamie, Steven, Mandi and Justin Weeks, and Jimmy and Nikki Wilson, great grandchildren: Jaden, Austin, Jasmine, McKenzie, Keagan, Payton and Isabella, sister-in-law: Sharron Owens and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 1:00 till 2:00 pm with funeral services at 2:00 pm, both at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 645 West Central Avenue, Winter Haven, FL. with Pastor Dean Slocumb officiating.
