Nellie P Dunlap

She was born in Geneva, Alabama on June 10th, 1937. She has lived in the Wahneta area for 70 plus years. Nell worked as a dedicated store attendant and baker until she was 75 years old. She was an inspiring Christian Wife, Mother, and Grandmother.

Nell loved reading her Bible, gardening, crafts such as ceramics and flower arrangements, canning and baking. She also loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and special dog Bo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Dunlap, and her mother and father Louie and Kate Pridgen.

She is survived by:

Children: Kenneth Clemmons and wife Deborah of Winter Haven, FL; Keith Clemmons and wife Linda of Winter Haven, FL; John Dunlap and Wife Patricia of Lakeland, FL; Walter Dunlap and Wife Lisa of Sweetwater, TN, and Rhonda Smallen of Lenior City, TN.

Grandchildren: Jason Clemmons and Wife Kristin, Tamara Clemmons Thomas, Caleb Clemmons and Wife Cassidy, Breanne Clemmons, Travis Clemmons, Justin Clemmons and Wife Brittany, Christopher Dunlap, Logan Dunlap, William Dunlap, and Christy Dunlap.

Great-Grandchildren: Ridge Thomas, Brasen Rushing, Landon Clemmons, Kylah Clemmons, Kayden Clemmons, Tyler Clemmons, Maelynn Clemmons, and another great-grandson is on the way.

Brothers: Glen Pridgen of Jacksonville, FL; Wayne (Von) Pridgen of Haines City, FL and Ronnie Pridgen of Lake Wales, FL.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 21st, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care.
