I first met Royal when he drove with Becky to meet my husband, Glen, and my mom, Barbara, and me at our condo at the  Spruce Creek Fly-In in Port Orange. I was immediately taken with him, his sense of humor, his warmth of personality, his positive outlook on life and his love for Becky. I knew he would be wonderful for her, and, indeed, whenever I saw them thereafter their love for each other always was obvious and his care of her evident. We will miss him, but as Becky told me, we have to be grateful to have had him in our lives for six years. Royal's presence and steadfast love are the blessings we, and especially Becky and Royal's family, were given.
