With deepest sorrow, we share with you the death on April 1, 2024 of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Theodolinde Lumbard. Theodolinde (AKA "Linda") was born on August 8, 1945 to parents Katharina Harlander & Theodore Strobol in Munchen, Germany. Linda was preceded in death by her life partner, Carl Locke and her, very best, first four-legged friend, Bummer and is survived by her daughter, Bettina Hoover (Steve Hoover), the Kaisers from Germany (Nelly, Seppe, Peter & Roland) grandchildren, Heidi Hoover (Mark Phondeth), Tonya Hoover (Somprasong Phondeth), Colby Hoover and Chelsie Hoover and her great grandchildren, Anna, Willow, and Cora Phondeth.
To friends and family, Linda loved fiercely and unconditionally. She was strong, outspoken and she told you how it was. Linda taught her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, the importance of being yourself. She became a collector of all things German and Hummel figurines. Since being in Florida, everyone knew about Linda's green bean casserole.
Burial services will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, in Auburndale, on Monday April 8th, 2024 at 11:00am.
