Mr. Brooks is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Eloise (Bush) Brooks; two sons, Thomas "Chuck" Milton Brooks Jr. (Joan), and Phillip Brooks (Mandy); three daughters, Rhonda Terrell (Mike), Teresa Shonkwiler (Richard), and Genise Moffitt Humphrey; one sister, Jackie Brooks Beverly; grandchildren, Devon Brooks (Ashley), Kendall Brooks, Pj Brooks (Alyssa), Katie Brooks, Baron Brooks, Joshua Harrell (Robin), Jessica Boykins (Jon), Katelyn Terrell, Kyle Shonkwiler, Trevor Shonkwiler, Hannah Kinsey (Dalton), Hunter Humphrey, and Heather Humphrey; as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Ander Brooks, and Bessie Lee Brooks, as well as a brother, Gene Brooks.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Auburndale, Florida with a funeral service to follow.
