

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Arnold Karl Kleinrath, II, of Augusta, GA, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at GA War Veterans Nursing Home. Memorial services will held on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 1:30pm at Lakemont Presbyterian Church, Augusta. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Arnold Karl Kleinrath and Mary Edenhofer Kleinrath. He moved to Augusta in 2004 from Aberdeen, SD. He was a retired salesman from CertainTeed Pipe, where he sold piping for the water and sewer main in North Dakota and South Dakota. He was a member of Lakemont Presbyterian Church, The American Legion Post # 151, and a volunteer at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. Arnold served his country in the Navy during World War II. He was an avid reader. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty five years Ruby Nelson Kleinrath, son, Arnold (Janette) Kleinrath, III, Bryson City, NC; daughter, Connie Wavrin, Atlanta, GA; brother, Arthur Kleinrath, Jensen Beach, FL, grandchild, Cody Kleinrath, San Jose, CA. Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Telfair Street Chapel is assisting the family.
