Betty Hattaway, 76, beloved wife of 57 years to Bobby Hattaway, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 30, 2014 at University Hospital. A time of sharing the life of Betty will be held 2 PM, Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Elliott Sons-Lumpkin Road Chapel with Pastor Josh Williams. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Betty was retired from Enterprise Mill after 22 years of service, she then was employed with Circle K for 8 years and later retired from BiLo Grocery. An avid Atlanta Braves fan, she loved softball also and coached many Richmond County Recreation softball teams. Survivors include her husband, Bobby; daughters and son-in-law, Myra Wehn, Kathy Flinchum and Tonya (Michael) Jones; sister, Jeanette Agner; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and five more on the way. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM, Wednesday evening at Elliott Sons, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta.
