Augusta, GA – Catherine M. Mackley, 92, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at UNIPAC Health Center in Aiken, SC. She was born April 26, 1920 to the late Robert and Mattie Edwards. She was a lifetime member of VFW Post #649 and MOCA PT 69. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Otto F. Mackley, and grandson, Allen Mackley.
She is survived by her children, James F. Mackley of Broken Arrow, OK, Connie L. Mackley of Graniteville, SC, and William D. Mackley of Aiken, SC; one sister, Beatrice; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road.
