Charlie "Charlie P. from # 3" F. Pryor

“Charlie P. from # 3” retired in 1995 after 46 ½ years of dedicated service with the Paper Mill Industry in Augusta and Springhill, Louisiana. He was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church where he previously served as Chairman of Deacon Board and as a Deacon. He was a Mason and belonged to the Scottish Rites. Charlie was a member of the Farmers Club of Hephzibah and went to the Hen Peck Club. Charlie was a dedicated man of God and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Pryor is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eloise M. Pryor; son, Dennis Charles Pryor of Augusta; daughter, Karen Pryor Armstrong of Pawleys Island, SC; four grandsons, Chris, Dennis Jr., Russell and Reid; two step-grandsons, Casey and Tracy; two great-grandchildren, Kennady and Cash; one sister, Marjorie Ground; twelve nieces and nephews; and an abundance of friends.

Charlie was preceded in death by his brother and sister, James Winston Pryor and Sybil Beaty.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 – 9 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM, Monday, November 21, 2011 at Hephzibah Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Hephzibah Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Seigler, Hennis Green, B B Chavous, Joe Taylor, Lewis Pryor and Glen Rabb.
