Mr. Stephens was born to the late Claude and Wilma Stephens in Fort Stewart, GA. He made Augusta, GA his home for most of his life. Mr. Stephens was a loving man who never met a stranger. His loving community knew him as the Mayor of Goodale. He worked as manager at Anthony Crane Services before retirement. Mr. Stephens was passionate about music and would often go with his wife and enjoy time with his Rio Family singing karaoke. Mr. Stephens was an avid golfer and made lots of memories on the golf course.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Stephens is preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Kimberly McCaig; and his beloved parrot, Dale. Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Maria Stephens; stepdaughter, Katrina Ryan (Jason); brother, Virgil “Skip” Felix Jr. (Barbara); grandchildren, Vivian, JJ and Kate; and niece, Rhonda Bradley.
A memorial service will be held privately.
