David Gary Chalker, Sr., 65, has entered into rest on February 13, 2013. Mr. Chalker was born August 21, 1947. He retired from Augusta Housing Authority. Graveside services will be held 1PM Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Gibson, Georgia, with Rev. George Webb officiating. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Gary Chalker and Mattie Kate Chalker. Survivors include his four sons, Darrel Chalker (Stephanie Volkmar), Michael Chalker, Christopher Chalker, David Chalker, Jr.; his three grandchildren; and his beloved friend and caregiver Patsy (Bobby) Mitchell.
