Mrs. Bauer lived in New York for a majority of her life but has made Augusta, GA her home for the last 5 years. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church on Fort Gordon. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling and was also on a bowling league.
Mrs. Bauer is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bauer; daughter, Mary Beth Rilke; and sisters, Deveral Bannon and Patricia Condon. Survivors include her son, Joseph Bauer; grandchildren, David Bauer, Krissandra Bauer and Nathan Bauer; and great-grandchildren, Leandro Bauer, Savannah Bauer, and Issabel Wardon.
