Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his father, Ed Williams; his brother, Bill Williams; sister, Luven Stone; and his son-in-law, Kelly Simpson. Survivors include his beloved wife, Patricia Williams; son, George Bales (Pam); daughter, Melinda Simpson; granddaughters, Maggie Bales, Bailee Bales, and Heather Gay; mother, Alberta Williams; and a host of extended brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, April 10, 2017, at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Rd, Augusta, GA 30906.
