Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 11am at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC.
Born in Savannah, GA, he was the son of the late William and Selma Sherrod Harris. He retired from Arcadia (Columbia Nitrogen) in 2003 after thirty years of service. Glenn liked photography, computers, collecting coins and listening to music. Glenn also liked arguing about politics and political forums.
Glenn is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Jeff) Harris, Douglasville, GA, sister, Mary Ann Harris, Augusta; brothers, Mark (Evalyn) Harris, Augusta; Gene (Shirley) Harris, Folkston, GA; sister-in-law Mary Harris, Aiken, SC; grandson, Michael Haynes, nieces, Jordana, Angie, Melody, and nephew, Quinn.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 6, 2102 from 10am until the hour of service at the funeral home.
