

Mrs. Janet Cho of Hephzibah, GA loving mother and wife of the late Adam Cho passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Wednesday February 28th, 2024, at Keysville Nursing Home and Rehab Center.
“Aunty Janet” was born in the town of Haiku on the Island of Maui, Hawaii on August 1, 1933. She spent many years as a Civil Servant, finally retiring from the Environmental Management Division of the VA Hospital on January 31, 1997. She received many awards for Outstanding Service during a career that surrounded a period where she raised her children until they were off to college.
During her younger years she volunteered to leave home and traveled to Japan to take a job and met a young US Soldier to whom she would marry and spend the next 60 plus years raising a family with.
She was a loving lady who could always be counted on to take care of her family and friends. She loved traveling to different places; she was an avid tennis fan and never missed a chance to play. She also loved to bake and loved doing different arts and crafts. She loved bike riding and could always be counted on to be watching the Atlanta Braves.
In addition to her parents, Janet is preceded in death by her husband Adam and her siblings, Irene Tatsuko, Ichiro, Miyoko Fujii, Torao, Tamio, Akira, Toshio and Masato. She is survived by brothers Tadashi (Jennifer) and Norman (Florence), her sons Greg (Geneva) and Jason, her grandchildren Kayla, Cj and Lyndsey.
